1968 Alvar PVC Lounge Chair by Giuseppe Raimondi for Gufram

Designed by Giuseppe Raimondi for Gufram, the Alvar lounge chair is an early icon of Italian Radical Design. Introduced in the late 1960s, its organic form and innovative PVC construction challenged conventional furniture design while reflecting Gufram's experimental approach to new materials. Bold yet inviting, the Alvar remains one of Raimondi's most celebrated designs and a defining piece of postwar Italian design history

Dimensions: 28"w x 38"d x 32.5"h / 14.25" seat height 

Condition: in good vintage condition, has wear from age and a dimple in the seat (see image) overall functionality of the chair is still great and firm
